Welly
How are Welly® bandages different from other brands?
Welly® is a brand of premium, whimsically printed, flex-fabric bandages designed to be worn as a badge of honor. Designed for kids and kids-at-heart, the Welly® product line features 25 unique items. The product line includes first aid kits, superhero supplies, and bandages designed specifically for fingers and toes.
Welly® also makes triple antibiotic ointment, blister protection and clear spot bandages that provide a healing environment for blemishes. The company sells most of its products in attractive, portable tins. The unique edgeless shape of Welly® bandages provides a comfortable fit, and the colorful strips stay in place until you're ready to remove them.
Are Welly® bandages waterproof?
Welly® fabric bandages are cut from medical-grade polyester, a water-resistant synthetic fabric that stretches and flexes with every move. The covers are made with a silicone-based adhesive that's suitable for sensitive skin. But not all Welly® bandages are waterproof.
For waterproof protection, you'll want Welly® Waterproof Bravery Badges®. Each 39-count tin gives you 3 nautical patterns and 3 sizes. The brand also makes a waterproof flex-foam tape, a product they've named Hero Tape.
Are Welly® bandages safe for sensitive skin?
All Welly® bandages are latex-free, and their adhesive has been tested to ensure it doesn't cause irritation or sensitivity. Welly® products are also sesame oil and gluten-free. Plus, the brand uses an acrylic adhesive shown to be safe for skin contact. With the exception of their comfy covers, Welly® bandages are also silicone-free. Comfy Covers are made with a special silicone-based adhesive shown to be gentle on sensitive skin.
How do I apply Welly® bandages?
Welly® bandages help keep minor cuts, scrapes and burns clean and protected. Welly® bandages should be applied to clean, dry skin. Change your bandage daily or whenever the pad gets wet.
Welly® Waterproof Bravery Badges® require an extra step. First, you'll need to peel away the paper backing and apply the bandage to clean, dry skin. Then, peel back the blue tab to remove the top film. Once you've completed both steps, press on the bandage gently to ensure adhesion.
