Softsoap liquid hand soaps are available in both non-antibacterial and antibacterial formulas in to accommodate your specific needs. Softsoap antibacterial hand soaps contain an ingredient called Benzalkonium Chloride which is clinically proven to eliminate up to 99.9% of common harmful bacteria. Softsoap has four varieties of antibacterial liquid hand soaps including their Crisp Clean, Fresh Citrus, White Tea & Berry Fusion, and Kitchen Fresh Hands formulas.

Many Softsoap products do not contain any animal products or byproducts. You can find the full list of these products on the Softsoap website. However, some Softsoap products may contain some animal ingredients so if they are not on the list, it might be best to avoid them. Softsoap products are part of Colgate Palmolive, which is not a cruelty-free company. Some products are tested on animals or are sourced from suppliers that test on animals. While the company claims that it does not test on animals, many of its products are sold in countries like China, which requires that imported products be tested on animals.
