o.b. Tampons

o.b. tampons are designed to help you during your menstrual flow. Most o.b. tampons come without an applicator, except for select styles of o.b. Organic which come with a plant-based applicator. o.b. features a variety of absorbency sizes, from Regular all the way up to Ultra. Each absorbency size correlates to the strength of your menstrual flow. For example, o.b.® Original Super Plus supports you on heavy flow days and can absorb between 12 and 15 grams of menstrual fluid. It's best to always use the smallest size you need first and move up a size if necessary. o.b. tampons provide protection against leaks for up to 8 hours, but it's recommended that you change your tampon every 4 to 8 hours.

How To Insert o.b. Tampons

When you're ready to insert a non-applicator o.b. tampon, first wash your hands. Be sure to pull out the string to widen the base of the tampon, and then place your finger into the unique protective pocket that covers your finger while you digitally insert the tampon inside your vagina. Once the tampon is inside, all that should remain outside of your body is the string.

For applicator-based tampons, gently insert the tampon applicator at an angle until the tampon is inside. Then fully insert the tampon by pushing on the applicator to release the tampon. Remove the applicator. The only thing that should be left outside of your vagina is the string.

What Are o.b. Tampons Made Of?

o.b. tampons are made from two kinds of rayon. They have a polyester string. The o.b.® Original cover is crafted from a polyester and polyethylene non-woven material, while o.b.® PRO COMFORT® is made from a polyethylene/polypropylene film.

o.b. Organic tampons are made from 100% certified organic cotton. They are free from chlorine, fragrances, and dyes. Applicators are made from up to 92% plant-based material.
