How To Use Lysol Disinfectant Spray
To sanitize and disinfect surfaces with Lysol disinfectant spray, clean the surface first. Hold the can of Lysol upright at least six to eight inches from the surface, then spray it for three to four seconds until the entire surface is covered. To sanitize, the surface must remain wet for 10 seconds, then let it air dry. To disinfect, the surface must stay wet for three minutes, then allowed to air dry.
Does Lysol Expire?
Lysol should remain effective for approximately two years after the manufacture date, which can be found on the product packaging. For maximum effectiveness, do not use expired Lysol products.
Does Lysol Kill Mold?
Lysol can help to control and prevent mildew. Simply apply the product to pre-cleaned surfaces and let them remain wet for three minutes, then allow all surfaces to air dry. You can repeat applications of Lysol each week, or whenever mold and mildew growth appears.
Does Lysol Kill Bed Bugs?
Lysol does not kill bed bugs unless you were to completely smother or down them in the product. If you have bed bugs, it's recommended that you contact a professional pest control company or exterminator as soon as possible to remove them.
