First, apply some sunscreen on your skin and let it dry before putting on some Hawaiian Tropic tanning oil. Pour a generous amount of tanning oil into the palms of your hands. Evenly spread and rub the tanning oil to all areas 15 minutes before sun exposure. For delicate skin areas like your face, make sure to do it gently. It only takes 30 minutes for the tanning oil to work and a bit of golden tan. If you sweat a lot or go into the water frequently, it's recommended to reapply the tanning oil every 2 hours. But if you are not at risk of overexposure to the sun, reapply every 3-5 hours. Overall, it's all up to your skin type and preferences.

Hawaiian Tropic is an American brand of sun care products made by Playtex Products Inc. Products include tanning oils, tanning lotions, and sunscreen. This brand is certified PETA cruelty-free, which means they don't test on animals. Hawaiian Tropic oil doesn't have an expiration date placed on its label. It is not a requirement for sun care products to include their expiration date as long as they have proven to maintain their protective level for at least three years. Expired tanning products won't protect you from ultraviolet (UV) radiation which increases the likelihood of burning your skin when out in the sun.
