COLOR APPLICATION STEPS FULL COLOR APPLICATION FOR ALL-OVER COLOR IF COLORING FOR THE FIRST TIME, TRYING A DARKER SHADE OR RECOLORING AFTER THREE MONTHS OR MORE. Put on gloves, protective clothing and cover surrounding area
Comb out tangles, pre-section hair into 4 equal parts and apply petroleum jelly to hairline and top of ears
Mix Color:
Cut tip off Splat Developer bottle, while bottle is pointed away from your face, and remove cap
Open and pour entire contents of Splat Color Cream into Splat Developer bottle
Open and pour entire contents of Splat Color Concentrate into Splat Developer bottle
Replace applicator cap on Splat Developer bottle and place gloved finger over open tip. Point away from your face and shake for 1-2 minutes or until contents are thoroughly mixed
Apply Color:
Immediately after mixing, apply color 1" inch away from scalp and through to the ends
Take small sections and continue to apply color 1" inch away from scalp working through all quadrants
Leave color on mid-length to ends for 15 minutes, then begin applying color at the root area, moving along all quadrants ensuring that ALL hair is covered
Apply plastic cap and process for additional 30 minutes
Total processing time is 15 minutes; maximum processing time is 45 minutes
Remove cap, rinse with lukewarm water, till water runs clear
Follow with Splat Reconstructor, allowing it to sit for 3 minutes, then rinse
