ColoTest® your ColoHealth with Reese's ColoTest®. What is ColoTest®? ColoTest® is FIT test, the preferred annual screening method for colon cancer*. ColoTest® detects blood in stool, which may be an early warning for: Colorectal Cancer, Diverticulitis, Gastrointestinal Disorders, Colitis & Polyps. What are the advantages of ColoTest®? ColoTest® offers fast results as soon as 1 minute, allowing you to self test at home without the hassle of mail-in lab testing requirements. Unlike a colonoscopy and some other screening formats, there is no prep required and no dietary restrictions before use of the test. ColoTest® is 98.8% accurate and only requires one stool sample. Recieving a Positive Result: A positive result may indicate invisible blood in the stool. Many conditions may cause blood in your stool. This should be confirmed with your doctor. Next steps likely include additional diagnostic procedures, including a colonoscopy. Receiving a Negative Result: A negative result indicates ColoTest® did not detect invisible blood in the stool. ColoTest® should be used as an annual screening method. *FIT Tests are recognized as the preferred annual screening method for colon cancer by Colorectal Cancer Alliance and Cleveland Clinic.
