This specially formulated gel features moisturizing ingredients that help to hydrate scars and the surrounding areas for faster healing. Use them to help scars heal and appear smoother due to injury, burns, surgery, acne, or stretch marks. The ingredients are free of parabens and phthalates for a product you can feel good about using. This scar gel is also formaldehyde donor-free. Use the CVS Health Scar Gel as directed for the best results. Apply it to clean, dry skin. The gel should be generously applied and gently rubbed into the scar and surrounding area three to four times per day for eight weeks on new scars. Use it three to four times per day for three to six months on existing scars. This skin protectant has been dermatologist tested and is recommended for all skin types, with a specially formulated gel made just for scars to soften and smooth the skin.
