CVS Health Prenatal Multi+DHA is a two-step multivitamin and DHA supplement that contains extra folic acid which helps provides support for the proper development of your baby's spinal column. Some studies suggest taking 200mg of DHA per day during pregnancy and while nursing a child can help support the healthy development of your child's brain and eye function. The unique formula in this product is ultra-pure and may help support visual development throughout infancy. During the second half of pregnancy, rapid brain growth typically occurs and then continues on throughout the rest of life. During this time, infants can have a need for DHA, which is why supplementation may be considered. You may use this before, during, and even after pregnancy to help support a wide range of functions for your baby. The formula is patented, ultra-pure, and completely fish-free. Use these softgels as a dietary supplement and take as directed on the product packaging, preferably with a meal. Directions
Suggested Use: As a dietary supplement for pregnant and nursing women, take one tablet and one Softgel daily with a meal. Not intended for children. Consult your doctor before use. Individual results may vary.
Warnings
Folic Acid may obscure the diagnosis of pernicious anemia. Folic Acid intake should not exceed 1,000 mcg. As with any product containing folic acid, iron or the non-water soluble Vitamins D and E, adhere carefully to the amount recommended by your health care practitioner. Warning: Accidental overdose of iron-containing products is a leading cause of fatal poisoning in children under 6. Keep this product out of reach of children. In case of accidental overdose, call a doctor or poison control center immediately. KEEP OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN. For optimal storage conditions, keep in a cool, dry place with the caps tightly closed. Protect from excessive heat or freezing. TAMPER EVIDENT: DO NOT USE IF SEAL UNDER CAPS IS BROKEN OR MISSING. As with any product containing omega-3 fatty acids, adhere carefully to the amount recommended by your health care practitioner.
