CVS Health Sterile Cotton Balls will not cause infections and can safely be used to clean minor open wounds because they are sterile. CVS Health Sterile Cotton Balls should not be used on major burns or cuts to stop the bleeding. This product can be used to apply antiseptic and topical medications to clean, treat and heal minor scrapes, scratches, cuts, and burns. The product is hypoallergenic. CVS Health Sterile Cotton Balls are sterile until the wrapper has been opened or damaged in any way. This product is not made with natural rubber latex. Directions
To use, gently and carefully clean the wound using CVS Health Sterile Cotton Balls with water and mild soap. Dry the wound site by patting it dry with a clean paper or cloth towel to avoid further injury to the site. Cover the wound with a surgical or non-stick pad to absorb any fluid or drainage and secure it with gauze and medical tape. For best results, we recommend using CVS Health first aid products.
