CVS Health Antimicrobial Silver Alginate Dressings use the power of silver to form a barrier against Staphylococcus aureus and Psedomonas aeruginosa. They are ideal for wounds that are at risk of infection: abrasions, minor cuts, scalds and burns. CVS Health Antibacterial Silver Alginate Dressings contain 1.4% Silver that kills bacteria (Staphylococcus aureus and Pseudomonas aeruginosa). Their barrier properties of the dressing may help to reduce infection. Sterility guaranteed unless individual wrapper has been opened or damaged. HSA/FSA eligible

Directions
For best results, use CVS Health first aid products, and follow the 1-2-3 Treatment STEP 1: CLEAN - Gently clean the wound before applying the dressing. STEP 2: COVER - For wounds with minimal drainage, carefully apply dressing to saline-moistened wound. Prior to removal of the dressing, moisten with sterile saline if the surrounding area appears dry. STEP 3: SECURE - Secure with a secondary dressing. The antimicrobial barrier lasts up to 7 days. The dressing may need to be changed before 7 days depending on wound drainage. If the dressing is hard to remove, soak it with sterile saline.
Warnings
In cases of deep puncture wounds and serious bums, consult a physician. Not for: 3rd degree burns, controlling heavy bleeding or patients with known sensitivity to alginates or silver. Store at room temperature: 50-77F (10-25C.) Keep dry.
