CVS Health Sore Throat & Cough Lozenges are formulated to provide soothing relief for occasional sore throat pain, sore mouth pain, and minor mouth irritations such as canker sores. This product may help with coughing due to bronchial and throat irritation that can occur when people suffer from the common cold. CVS Health Sore Throat & Cough Lozenges contain ingredients that are comparable to the active ingredient in Cepacol. This product is HSA and FSA eligible. This product is gluten-free. A person may need to be 18 years old or older in order to be able to purchase it in some states. CVS Health Sore Throat & Cough Lozenges may not be right for everyone. People with an allergy to procaine, butacaine, or benzocaine should not use this product. Also, if the sore throat does not improve after two days of using this product, please consult with a physician to determine if there is a more serious medical issue that needs treatment. Do not continue to use CVS Health Sore Throat & Cough Lozenges if fever, headaches, a rash, or nausea and vomiting occur. This product is not for use by people who are taking an MAOI or who have stopped taking an MAOI within the last two weeks. Patients with a persistent cough associated with asthma, emphysema, or because they smoke should talk with a doctor before using CVS Health Sore Throat & Cough Lozenges. Gluten-free.

Warnings
Allergy Alert: Do not use this product if you have a history of allergy to local anesthetics such as procaine, butacaine, benzocaine, or other "caine" anesthetics. Sore throat warning: If sore throat is severe, persists for more than 2 days, is accompanied or followed by fever, headache, rash, nausea or vomiting consult a doctor promptly. Do not use if you are now taking a prescription monoamine oxidase inhibitor (MAOI) (certain drugs for depression, psychiatric, or emotional conditions, or Parkinson's disease), or for 2 weeks after stopping the MAOI drug. If you do not know if your prescription drug contains an MAOI, ask a doctor or pharmacist before taking this product. If pregnant or breast-feeding, ask a health professional before use. Keep this and all drugs out of reach of children. In case of overdose, get medical help or contact Poison Control Center right away. Store at room temperature. Protect from moisture. Warning: Tamper-evident packaging. Do not use if outer box or blister is open or damaged. Ask a doctor before use if you have:
Persistent or chronic cough such as occurs with smoking, asthma, or emphysema
Cough that occurs with too much phlegm (mucus)
Stop use and ask a doctor or dentist if
Sore mouth symptoms do not improve in 7 days
Irritation, pain, or redness persists or worsens
Swelling develops
Cough lasts more than 7 days, comes back, or occurs with fever, rash, or persistent headache. These could be signs of a serious illness
