This maximum-strength pain-relieving ointment provides infection protection and temporarily relieves pain and discomfort in minor cuts, scrapes and burns. Use this ointment to ease pain from minor wounds and protect your skin from infection. This triple antibiotic ointment contains three first-aid antibiotics and one external analgesic. Ingredients
See the full list of product ingredients on the product label. Active ingredients (in each gram): Bacitracin zinc 500 units; Neomycin sulfate equivalent to 3.5 mg of neomycin base; Polymyxin B 10, 000 units as polymyxin B sulfate; Pramoxine HCl 10 mg. Inactive ingredient: white petrolatum.
Directions
Adults and children two years or older clean the affected area, then apply a small amount of this product. The amount is equal to the surface area of the tip of a finger on the area 1 to 3 times daily. You may cover it with a sterile bandage. For children under two years of age, ask a doctor.
Warnings
Warnings: For external use only. Do not use it if you are allergic to any of the ingredients, in the eyes and over large areas of the body. Ask a doctor before use if you have deep or puncture wounds, animal bites and serious burns. Stop use and ask a doctor if you need to use longer than one week, the condition persists or worsens, symptoms persist for more than one week, or clear up and occur again within a few days, and rash or other allergic reaction develops. Keep out of reach of children. If swallowed, get medical help or contact a Poison Control Center right away (1-800-222-1222).
