CVS Health Maximum Strength Flu HBP Tablets are a decongestant-free medication that can be used to treat the symptoms of the flu and high blood pressure. The tablets contain acetaminophen, which is a pain reliever and fever reducer, chlorpheniramine maleate, which is an antihistamine and dextromethorphan HBr, which is a cough suppressant. Keep the outer package for complete product information. Other Information: 1. Protect from excessive moisture. 2. store at 25°C (77°F); excursions permitted between 15°-30°C (59°-86°F). 3. See end flap for expiration date and lot number. Do not take more than directed (see overdose warning).
Adults and children 12 years and over: 2 tablets every 6 hours while symptoms persist. Do not take more than 8 tablets in 24 hours.

Warnings
Liver warning: This product contains acetaminophen. Severe liver damage may occur if you take: 1. More than eight tablets in 24 hours, the maximum daily amount. 2. With other drugs containing acetaminophen. 3. 3 or more alcoholic drinks every day while using this product. Do not use: 1. With any other drug containing acetaminophen (prescription or nonprescription). Ask a doctor or pharmacist if you are: 1. Taking the blood thinning drug warfarin before use. 2. Taking sedatives or tranquilizers. When using this product: 1. Excitability may occur, especially in children. 2. Alcohol, sedatives and tranquilizers may increase drowsiness. 3. Drowsiness may occur. 4. Be careful when driving a motor vehicle or operating machinery. 5. Avoid alcoholic drinks. Stop using and ask a doctor if: 1. Pain or cough worsens or lasts more than seven days. 2. New symptoms occur. 3. Fever gets worse or lasts more than three days. 4. Redness or swelling is present. 5. Persistent cough lasts for over a week, tends to recur or is accompanied by fever, rash or persistent headache. This could be a sign of a serious condition. If pregnant or breastfeeding, ask a health professional before use. Keep out of reach of children—overdose warning: Taking more than the recommended dose (overdose) may cause liver damage. In case of an overdose, get medical help or contact a Poison Control Center (1-800-222-1222) right away. Quick medical attention is critical for adults and children, even if you do not notice any signs or symptoms. If you do not know if your prescription drug contains an MAOI, ask a doctor or pharmacist before taking this product.
Ask a doctor before use if you have the following: Trouble urinating due to an enlarged prostate gland, liver disease, glaucoma.
A breathing problem or persistent or chronic cough occurs with smoking, asthma, chronic bronchitis or emphysema
Cough that occurs with too much phlegm (mucus).
If you are unsure whether a drug contains acetaminophen, ask a doctor or pharmacist.
