Get relief from itchy skin due to exposure to poison ivy with CVS Health Dual Action Poison Ivy Relief Wash. This wash features nature-derived ingredients and a unique formula with anti-inflammatory lipids derived from hemp seed oil (Cannabis Sativa). It may help to stop further damage due to a proprietary solubilizer system for superior removal of Urushiol, the compound found in poison ivy that causes redness and itchiness. The formula contains a Pharm Calm™ cocktail to cool and calm the sting and deliver restorative Vitamin B5 to the skin to keep it moisturized. This product is for external use only and should not be used on the mucous membranes or the eye area. Use this product carefully as directed per the product packaging. When used as directed, it gently cleanses and moisturizes red, itchy, and irritated skin to provide you with fast relief from poison ivy. Use it as soon as contact with poison ivy is suspected to quickly prevent a rash. You may use it alone or with CVS Health Poison Ivy Relief Spray for itch relief. Apply the wash directly to the affected area as needed and do not scrub the area. After application, rinse the area with plenty of clean, cool water. Directions
If you think you've touched poison ivy, oak or sumac, use immediately (or as quickly as possible). Gently wash the part of your skin that touched that plant with Poison Ivy wash. Do not scrub harshly. Thoroughly rinse with plenty of cool water. Wash under your nails to rewove any oil that may have gotten trapped there. Follow these steps as soon as possible after coming into contact with the plant or anything that has the plant's oil on it. If an hour or so has passed and your skin doesn't itch, it still may be helpful to follow these steps. Doing so may reduce the severity of any rash you may get. More serious reactions will likely require additional washings
