A versatile tablet that you can use for various health concerns is a must-have. The CVS Health Antacid and Pain Reliever Tablets Effervescent are perfect to have at home or to carry wherever you go. These tablets can aid relieve different health concerns such as heartburn, acid indigestion, sour stomach with headache, and various body aches and pains. The tablets contain sodium, aspirin, sodium bicarbonate, and citric acid. Because they are effervescent, they take effect instantly. Directions Take two tablets every four hours for children and adults 12 to 60. Do not exceed eight tablets in one day. For those 60 years and over, take two pills every four hours and do not exceed four tablets in 24 hours. Put the tablets in water and let them dissolve completely. You do not have to drink the residue at the bottom of the glass. Store at room temperature (59-86 degrees F). This product is HSA/FSA eligible. Warnings This product is not meant for children and teenagers with flu symptoms or chicken pox unless a doctor is consulted about Reye's syndrome. The aspirin in this product may cause an allergic reaction such as hives, facial swelling, asthma or wheezing), and shock. If severe stomach pain occurs after taking this product, consult a doctor immediately. Ingredients

Directions

Do not exceed recommended dosage. To avoid serious injury, completely dissolve tablets in 4 oz of water before taking. Adults and Children 12 Years and Over (Up to 60 Years of Age): 2 tablets every 4 hours. Do not exceed 8 tablets in 24 hours. 60 Years and Over: 2 tablets every 4 hours. Do not exceed 4 tablets in 24 hours. Place two (2) tablets in 4 oz of water. Dissolve tablets completely. You do not have to drink any of the residues that may be on the bottom of the glass. The medicines are in the water. Store at room temperature (59-86 degrees F).

Warnings

Reye's Syndrome: Children and teenagers should not use this drug for chicken pox or flu symptoms before a doctor is consulted about Reye's syndrome, a rare but serious illness reported to be associated with aspirin. Allergy Alert: Aspirin may cause a severe allergic reaction which may include: hives; facial swelling; asthma (wheezing); shock. Alcohol Warning: If you consume 3 or more alcoholic drinks every day, ask your doctor whether you should take aspirin or other pain relievers/fever reducers. Aspirin may cause stomach bleeding. Do not use if you have ever had an allergic reaction to any other pain reliever/fever reducer; if you are allergic to aspirin; if overly full from food or drink. Ask a doctor if severe stomach pain occurs after taking this product. Ask a doctor before use if you have been placed on a sodium-restricted diet; asthma; ulcers; bleeding problems; stomach problems that last or come back, such as heartburn, upset stomach or pain; high blood pressure, heart or kidney disease, are taking a diuretic, or are over 65 years of age. Ask a doctor or pharmacist before use If you are presently taking a prescription drug (Antacids may interact with certain prescription drugs); taking a prescription drug for anticoagulation (thinning the blood), diabetes, gout or arthritis. When using this product do not take more than 8 tablets (adults) or 4 tablets (60 years and over) in a 24-hour period or use the maximum dosage for more than 10 days. Stop use and ask a doctor if an allergic reaction occurs (Seek medical help right away); pain lasts for more than 10 days or gets worse; new symptoms occur; redness or swelling is present; ringing in the ears or a loss of hearing occurs. If pregnant or breast-feeding, ask a health professional before use. It is especially important not to use aspirin during the last 3 months of pregnancy unless definitely directed to do so by a doctor because it may cause problems in the unborn child or complications during delivery. Keep out of reach of children. In case of overdose, get medical help or contact a Poison Control Center right away. Tablets sealed in printed packets for your protection.
