Directions
Always spot test on hidden surface first. How To Use CLR: Showerheads, Tubs, Toilet Bowls, Sinks, Porcelain, Stucco, Vinyl Siding, Brick, Coffeepots, Tea Kettles, Humidifiers: Mix equal parts (50/50 CLR to water solution) for light stains/build-up. Repeat as necessary. Use full strength for stubborn stains/build-up. Spot test before beginning any cleaning job. May etch older sinks, tubs and tiles. Always avoid prolonged contact with any surface. After 2 minutes, rinse promptly and thoroughly with cold clean water. Concrete: Use per instructions above but do not sue on colored concrete or concrete under 1 year old, or on sealed or stamped concrete. Due to various composition of concrete a lightening or darkening may occur. Spot test before beginning any cleaning job. Coffeemakers: Refer to coffee maker manual cleaning directions first. Mix 1 part CLR to 8 parts water, remove filter, run through cycle. Rinse well with 2 pots of water. Do not use in espresso machines or Gevalia machines. See website for more detailed instructions. Washing machines/Dishwashers: Add 1/2 cup to empty machine on normal cycle. Run another cycle empty with just water to rinse. Toilet bowls: For stubborn stains remove water add 5 oz of CLR and scrub well with a bristled brush. Do not use CLR on natural stone/marble, terrazzo or colored grout, metallic painted surfaces, laminates, espresso machines, brass/copper/aluminum, galvanized metal, clothing/fabric/carpeting, refinished bathtubs, wood, any damaged or cracked surface, colored concrete, concrete less than 1 yr old, sealed or stamped concrete. Keep out of reach of children. Harmful if swallowed. Eye irritant. Vapor may be harmful. Do not mix with other household chemicals or bleach as toxic fumes may result. Do not reuse empty bottle. Use in well ventilated area. In case of contact with skin or eyes, flush with cool water for 15 minutes. Call physician if irritation continues. If swallowed, do not induce vomiting; drink a glass of water followed with milk. Call a physician immediately.
