Over time, your Conair hair brush can pick up oils, products and dirt. Before cleaning, remove any hair that's stuck in the bristles. If the hair is matted, use a comb or a pointed object to slide it up the bristles; then, cut it away with scissors.
Pour warm water into a container, and add clarifying shampoo or baby shampoo. Mix the water until bubbles form. If your brush is made of plastic or metal, let it soak in the water for a few minutes. For wood brushes and models with padded handles, dip the brush head in the water, and swirl it around. Then, shake it off and repeat.
Rinse away the soap and residue. If the brush looks clean, let it dry on a towel. If not, use an old toothbrush to scrub off any leftover buildup.
