Soflens
Soflens is a brand of contact lens manufactured by Bausch & Lomb. There are several different types of SofLens contacts available on the market, including those that treat myopia (nearsightedness), hyperopia (farsightedness), presbyopia (age-related farsightedness) and astigmatism. SofleLens contacts are disposable soft contact lenses that are replaced either daily or every 1-2 weeks, depending on the type of lens that you need.
SofLens 38 contact lenses are a popular choice for the correction of myopia and hyperopia. These contacts have two possible wear times. First, you can use them as a daily wear contact for up to seven days. This includes removing, disinfecting and cleaning them each night in a contact lens case. You would then replace them after a week's time. The other option is to use them as an extended wear contact for up to seven consecutive days and nights. You would not have to remove and clean them every night; instead, you would discard them after the wear time is concluded.
SofLens 38 contact lenses are made with a time-tested, deposit-resistant lens material that provides performance, comfort and clear vision. You should have a discussion with your eye doctor about whether daily wear or extended wear is right for you and your eyes.
SofLens also offers daily disposable contacts for the treatment of myopia and hyperopia. Fresh, new lenses everyday eliminate the worry around daily cleaning, storage and care. Simply throw the contacts away when you are done with them and use a new pair for a new day. These lenses provide outstanding all-day comfort with an exceptionally thin lens design, a cushion of moisture and High Definition Optics that reduce the appearance of blurriness, halos and glare.
SofLens also offers weekly disposable daily wear (with the extended wear option up to seven days) and bi-weekly disposable SofLens contacts for treating astigmatism. The unique lens design makes for easy wearing, exceptional comfort and clear vision. In addition,
SofLens multi-focal contact lenses eliminate the need for reading glasses and allow you to see well at all distances.
Bausch & Lomb provides several options in their SofLens brand for treating the eye issues that are keeping you from wearing contact lenses. Consult with your eye doctor about whether there is a contact lens that will allow you to transition from glasses to seeing the world in a new way.
